ศรีสมภพ จิตร์ภิรมย์ศรี deepsouthwatch.orgเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบในจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้นับตั้งแต่มกราคม 2547 ถึง มกราคม 2553 นับรวมได้หกปีเต็มแล้ว จากฐานข้อมูลของศูนย์เฝ้าระวังสถานการณ์ภาคใต้ (Deep South Watch) ชี้ให้เห็นว่าในช่วงเวลา 73 เดือนที่ผ่านมามีเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบรวม 9,446 ครั้ง ทำให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตประมาณ 4,100 ราย บาดเจ็บ 6,509 ราย รวมเหยื่อของเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบในรอบหกปีที่ผ่านมา ทั้งตายและบาดเจ็บรวมกันเป็นจำนวน 10,609 ราย

د. محمد مورو  تعد مشكلة الأقليات  التي ظهرت مؤخراً في العالم الإسلامي مشكلة مستحدثة أو مفتعلة، أو بها قدر هائل من التحريض الأجنبي، وهي في الحقيقة لم تظهر إلا في إطار الصراع مع الغرب، وتحديداً بعد مرحلة الاحتلال والنفوذ الأجنبي، ومن المعروف أن النظرة إلى القضايا الاجتماعية عموماًَ، والأقليات خصوصاً تختلف على حسب اختلاف المنظور العلمي المستخدم في دراستها، وبديهي أن علم الاجتماع السياسي وغيره من العلوم الإنسانية تختلف من سياق حضاري إلى آخر، فعلم الاجتماع مرتبط بالسياق الحضاري الذي أفرزه وأفرز من ثم المشكلات التي يتناولها الغرب، والخلل هنا أن البعض يستخدم مفاهيم ومناهج علم الاجتماع السياسي الغربي باعتباره هو العلم المطلق، وهذا خطأ منهجي لا شك فيه؛ لأن استخدام مناهج هذا العلم ومصطلحاته في دراسة الحالة الإسلامية وهي حالة مختلفة كماً ونوعاً عن الحالة والسياق

กลุ่มซูวารอปัตตานี จากการแพรระบาดครั้งใหญ่ของโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ 2009 ในปีที่ผ่านมา นั้น มีผู้ที่มีภูมิต้านทานต่ำเป็นจำนวนมากได้ป่วยเป็นโรคดังกล่าวและมีอาการรุนแรง  เพื่อเป็นการป้องกันเตรียมความพร้อมรองรับสถานการณ์ของโรค  เพราะหากเกิดการระบาดใหญ่จะก่อให้เกิดความสูญเสียอย่างมากมาย  กระทรวงสาธารณสุขจึงได้จัดให้บริการ ฉีดวัคซีนไข้หวัดใหญ่จำนวนกว่า 2 ล้านโด๊ส  ให้กับกลุ่มที่มีความเสี่ยงสูงต่อการเกิดโรคและมีความรุนแรงเมื่อเจ็บป่วย ซึ่งได้แก่ ผู้ที่อ้วนน้ำหนักเกิน  100 กิโลกรัม  2 หญิงตั้งครรภ์ 3 เดือนขึ้นไป 3 ผู้พิการที่ช่วยเหลือตัวเองไม่ได้ 4ผู้ป่วยเรื้อรัง  โรคปอดอุดตันเรื้อรัง หอบหืด  หัวใจและหลอดเลือด  เบาหวานทั้งที่มีและไม่มีโรคแทรกซ้อน  ไต  ผู้ป่วยมะเร็งที่อยู่ระหว่างการ รับเคมีบำบัด  โรคธาลัสซีเมียที่มีอาการรุนแรง  และ 5 บุคคลทางการแพทย์ที่เป็นหน่วยบริการด้านหน้า ด้วย
