ขอเชิญสื่อมวลชนส่งผลงานเข้าประกวด
"รางวัลสื่อมวลชนเพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชน" ประจำปี 2559
(Media Awards 2016)
เนื่องด้วยแอมเนสตี้ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ประเทศไทยซึ่งทำงานสื่อสารสาธารณะกับสื่อมวลชนและประชาชนทั่วไป จึงได้จัดประกวดเพื่อมอบ “รางวัลสื่อมวลชนเพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชน” ประจำปี 2559 (Media Awards 2016) เพราะเล็งเห็นว่าสื่อมวลชนเป็นบุคคลที่ควรได้รับการยกย่อง สื่อทำหน้าที่เป็นครูที่ดีในการร่วมกันบ่มเพาะคนในสังคมให้ตระหนักถึงเรื่องสิทธิมนุษยชน และเคารพซึ่งกันและกันมากขึ้น จึงเล็งเห็นความสำคัญในการสร้างกำลังใจให้สื่อมวลชนที่ทำงานอย่างหนักในการนำเสนอข่าวสารในแง่มุมที่คำนึงถึงการเคารพ ส่งเสริม และปกป้องสิทธิมนุษยชน ด้วยการจัดมอบผลงานรางวัลสื่อมวลชนดีเด่นด้านสิทธิมนุษยชน เพื่อสร้างความตระหนักให้กับคนในสังคม และสื่อมวลชนจะได้มีพลังในการยืนหยัดที่จะทำงานเพื่อปกป้องส่งเสริมสิทธิมนุษยชนต่อไป
การประกวด“รางวัลสื่อมวลชนเพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชน” ประจำปี 2559 ( Media Awards 2016) มีทั้งหมด 5 รางวัล ทุกรางวัลจะได้รับเงินรางวัล 30,000 บาท พร้อมโล่ประกาศเกียรติคุณ สำหรับผลงานที่ส่งเข้าประกวดต้องเผยแพร่หรือตีพิมพ์ ระหว่างวันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2558 ถึงวันที่ 30 กันยายน 2559 เท่านั้น และสามารถส่งผลงานได้ตั้งแต่วันนี้ ถึง 31 ตุลาคม 2559
โดยแบ่งประเภทการประกวดดังต่อไปนี้
• ข่าวและสารคดีเชิงข่าวประเภทสื่อหนังสือพิมพ์ระดับชาติ
• ข่าวและสารคดีเชิงข่าวประเภทสื่อหนังสือพิมพ์ระดับท้องถิ่น
• ข่าวหรือสารคดีเชิงข่าวประเภทสื่อโทรทัศน์ในระบบดิจิตอล (ความยาวรวมไม่เกิน 20 นาที)
• ข่าวหรือสารคดีเชิงข่าวประเภทสื่อโทรทัศน์ในระบบเคเบิลท้องถิ่น (ความยาวรวมไม่เกิน 20 นาที)
• ข่าวและสารคดีเชิงข่าวประเภทสื่อออนไลน์
ชิงเงินรางวัล 30,000 บาท พร้อมโล่ประกาศเกียรติคุณ
ผลงานที่ส่งเข้าประกวดต้องเผยแพร่หรือตีพิมพ์
ระหว่างวันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2558 ถึง วันที่ 30 กันยายน 2559
ส่งผลงานตั้งแต่วันนี้ถึง 31 ตุลาคม 2559

Invites the media to contest
the“Media Awards” 2016
Amnesty International Thailand communicates with the media and the general public, and is therefore arranging the Media Awards 2016 competition with the view that the mass media should be honored for their role in fosteringin society a greater recognition of human rights and mutual respect. It also sees the importance of inspiring the difficult work of the media in presenting news from a perspective that respects, supports, and protects human rights. An award ceremony for outstanding media on human rights issues will be held to grant public recognition to the media and encourage their ongoing work in protecting human rights.
Amnesty International Thailand is part of the Amnesty International network that campaigns to promote and protect human rights worldwide. There are currently over 7 million supporters in 150 countries. Amnesty International is independent from any political, economic or other ideology. Amnesty International Thailandwas established in 1995 and officially registered in 2003. It works to raising awareness and understanding of human rights, and to promote and protect human rights worldwide.
There are 5 categories of awards
- national news reports and documentaries in newspapers
- local news reports and documentaries in newspapers
- news reports and documentaries on digital television (total length shouldbe not more than 20 minutes)
- news reports and documentaries on local cable television (total length shouldbe not more than 20 minutes)
- news reports anddocumentaries in online media
Prizes are 30,000 Baht and award certificates
Deadline for submission ofmaterial:31 October 2016
