Situation Report Violent Incidents In Southern Thailand/Patani Quarter 2/2018 Deep South Watch DOWNLOAD Overall Situation During the third quarter of 2018 there was a total of 102 violent incidents in Thailand’s conflict affected southern border provinces. Situation Report Violent Incidents In Southern Thailand/Patani Quarter 2/2018 Deep South Watch DOWNLOAD Overall Situation Based on Deep South Watch monitoring of the situation, there was a total of 193 violent incidents in the conflict affected Thai southern border provinces in the second quarter of 2018. On 25/2/2018  I published an article : The Peace Dialogue Process - Third year (2017) - https://deepsouthwatch.org/en/node/11704 . It began something like this :  "My previous article on the peace process (https://www.deepsouthwatch.org/node/9977 ) ended with a high expectation that the Safety Zone implementation would be put on trial as a pilot project by the first half of 2017. However that never materialized. If anything, it  goes to show that a peace process is always unpredictable, fragile and never without obstacles."
